Campaign Overview

Campaigns are how Client Portal organizes targeted outbound effort within your markets. While a market defines the candidate landscape, a campaign is a focused initiative to reach specific contacts within that market over a defined period.

What Is a Campaign?

A campaign is a structured outreach effort that targets a specific set of contacts within one of your markets. Campaigns help you track:

  • Which contacts are being reached out to
  • How many calls have been made and what the outcomes were
  • What intelligence has been gathered from the conversations
  • Overall progress toward covering the target contact list

Think of a market as the territory and a campaign as the mission within that territory.

Campaign Statuses

Each campaign has a status that tells you where it stands:

StatusMeaning
ActiveThe campaign is currently running. Outreach is in progress and calls are being made.
PausedThe campaign has been temporarily stopped. It can be resumed at any time.
CompletedThe campaign has finished its run. All planned outreach has been completed.
DraftThe campaign is being set up but has not started yet.

Campaigns and Markets

Every campaign belongs to a single market. This relationship ensures that all activity within a campaign feeds directly into the intelligence picture for that market.

A single market can have multiple campaigns over time. For example, your "M&A -- New York" market might have:

  • An initial validation campaign that covers 50 contacts to assess the market
  • A follow-up campaign focused on contacts who showed interest in the first round
  • An ongoing coverage campaign for sustained market presence
Campaigns roll up to markets

All call data, signals, and analytics from a campaign automatically feed into the parent market's intelligence. You do not lose any data when a campaign ends -- it all compounds within the market.

Campaign-Level Metrics

Each campaign tracks key metrics that help you understand its progress and effectiveness:

MetricWhat It Measures
Contact CountTotal number of contacts in the campaign
Calls MadeNumber of outbound calls completed
Connection RatePercentage of calls that resulted in a real conversation
Meetings BookedNumber of meetings scheduled from campaign calls
Signals CapturedIntelligence signals extracted from campaign conversations

These metrics give you a clear picture of how productive each campaign is and how it contributes to your overall market coverage.
